Marcia Edwards (Board)

Since leaving Lynchburg, VA in 1972: I have lived and worked in Raleigh, NC, Rocky Mount, NC and planted in Greenville, NC in 1982 and consider this home...I am an Eastern NC Transplant. We are 90 miles from the beach, which I love, and this is considered the "flat lands". I really do miss the Blue Ridge..it will be nice to return to the city of "The Seven Hills" in October and see classmates!

This was our Sr. Year, Charlie Robinson and I were in Miss Puckett's Matt Class after lunch. One day I had this fake, gray mouse and Charlie put it in her chair. She was standing outside the door the whole time we were carrying on and she came in the room furious!! She said, "I want that thing out of my desk and I want to know who put there?? Who does this belong to?" We got caught..it was funny and the whole class got a charge out of it...but I was scared to pieces as she was sending our names to the Principles Office and it was a Friday. I stewed the whole weekend thinking this was the end...I had never been to the Principles Office--Oh my!! Monday came and we never got called to the office...we passed her class too...THE END!
